Police say the two gunmen were a 50-year-old father, who died on the scene, and his 24-year-old son who remains in hospital in critical condition. Sixteen people were killed in an attack by two gunmen on Sunday in Bondi beach, including a 10-year-old girl and one of the shooters.
We also head to Hong Kong, where a court has found the media tycoon and pro-democracy activist, Jimmy Lai, guilty of sedition.
