Machado's escape was 'a special rescue mission'

The man who coordinated María Corina Machado's clandestine exit from the country told the BBC her sea journey was made in pitch black through three- metre waves. Bryan Stern runs a company specialising in rescue missions and evacuations. Mr Stern said he was not initially told the identity of the person he'd be helping, but that he was able to guess.

Reddit has filed a lawsuit to overturn Australia's social media ban for under-sixteens, saying it should never have been included.
