
A bill to release Epstein files signed by US President
The Justice Department now has 30 days to release files on late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
President Trump says he's signed a bill approving the release by the US Justice Department of documents from its criminal investigation into the late sex- offender, Jeffrey Epstein. The department now has thirty days to release them.
A court in the Philippines has found a former mayor, Alice Guo, guilty of human trafficking linked to a scam centre in her town. Guo was sentenced to life in prison.
Senior Pentagon officials visiting Ukraine are expected to meet President Zelensky later for discussions that will include President Trump’s efforts to end the war. It comes amid unconfirmed media reports that US and Russian envoys have drawn up a set of proposals for restarting negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow. Those proposals would reportedly require Ukraine to completely withdraw from the eastern Donbas region and limit the size of its military.
