Joe Biden gave a stumbling performance in a 90-minute showdown with Donald Trump - the first televised debate of the 2024 presidential election campaign.

There was no live audience and microphones were muted when it was the other candidate's turn to speak - to try to reduce interruptions. But how did they fare ? We get some reactions from the US.

A roof has collapsed under heavy rain and wind at the main airport in the Indian capital Delhi, killing one person and leading to some flights being cancelled.
