US set to present 30-day ceasefire offer to Russia

The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has said Ukraine's long term security will depend upon a sufficient deterrent against future Russian attacks. Mr Rubio urged the Russians to consider ending all hostilities, saying that if they didn't, the US would have to figure out what Moscow's true intentions were.
