
Israel strikes Beirut again
Israel's military has carried out air strikes in Beirut, saying it killed a Hezbollah air unit commander.
Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has told the military to continue striking Hezbollah with full force in Lebanon, despite international calls for a ceasefire. Earlier, Mr Netanyahu's office said that he had not given a response to a proposal by the US and France for a 21-day ceasefire.
