
Trump: 'I was saved by luck or God'

Former US President Donald Trump has said he is "supposed to be dead" after Saturday night's assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania. A spectator was killed in the attack, while two other people were seriously injured. The gunman, who also died, has been named as Thomas Matthew Crooks. We speak to people who were at the rally about what happened and how they're feeling now.
The British foreign secretary David Lammy has met the families of hostages in Gaza as he continues his first visit to the Middle East since the Labour party won power in the UK. During a meeting with the Israeli President, Isaac Herzog, Mr Lammy said he hoped for a speedy ceasefire that would alleviate the suffering and what he called the intolerable loss of life in Gaza, as well as the release of hostages. We speak to our correspondent there.
