Israel admits 'unintentional' attack on aid workers
Israel has acknowledged it carried out a strike in Gaza which killed seven aid workers.
The Israel prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has acknowledged that his armed forces were responsible for a strike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza on Sunday - calling it unintentional. The attack has been widely condemned.
The seven workers are from Australia, Britain, Poland, a US-Canadian dual citizen as well as Palestinians. We speak to a Polish journalist about one of the victims, Damian Sobol. We also speak to aid workers about the challenges their colleagues face in Gaza.
Reports from Iran say 13 people are now known to have been killed in a suspected Israeli air strike on Damascus. High-ranking Iranian commanders died in the attack, which Tehran says it won't let go unpunished. Our security correspondent explains.
