People are voting in municipal elections in Turkey, with President Erdogan's party hoping to regain control of urban areas including the capital, Ankara, and the biggest city, Istanbul.
Also in the programme: The Gulf Arab state of Qatar is facing claims that it has arrested a British-Mexican citizen because of his sexuality, we hear from his brother; and scientists in the UK are scouring the rooftops of cathedrals looking for cosmic dust.
Joining presenter Paul Henley are Chitra Nagarajan, a writer and human rights activist specialising in Nigeria and West Africa; and David Keen, a writer, political economist and professor of conflict studies at the London School of Economics.
