Israel's PM gives defiant TV address

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has given a defiant TV address, saying Israel was fighting on "all fronts" in a war that would last many more months until victory was achieved.

Also in the programme: Moscow launches fresh strikes against Ukraine; and deadly lightning strikes on the rise in Bangladesh.

Joining Julian Worricker on the programme are: Noga Tarnopolski, journalist, freelance reporter on Israel and the Palestinian territories and Kaya Genç, Turkish Essayist and novelist.
