More hostages due to be released on the third day of a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas

A second group of thirteen Israelis and four foreign nationals were released late last night after a delay of several hours. Hamas accused Israel of not sticking to its part of the current four day truce agreement. Israel had denied this. Thirty-nine more Palestinian prisoners detained by Israel were freed in exchange for the release of the hostages.
Russia says it has destroyed several Ukrainian drones overnight. And a rare book once owned by the British author Jane Austin is going under the hammer at Sotheby’s next month.
