
Putin speaks after Wagner take control of Rostov
Putin says the high "ambitions" of some have led to "high treason".
President Putin of Russia has warned that his country is facing a betrayal, in a televised address. Mr Putin warned of a harsh response to threats including what he called blackmail and terrorist methods. He admitted that Russian forces were not in control of the key city of Rostov-on-Don. He said he would not allow Russia to be torn apart and would do everything to defend the country.
