
UN Security Council adopts Gaza resolution
The US abstained from the vote, while the remainder of the council's 15 members voted in favour.
The UN Security Council has for the first time adopted a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. We explain what it means.
President Macron of France has warned Russia against trying to exploit Friday's deadly militant attack on a Moscow concert venue to blame Ukraine. The Islamic State group has said it carried out the attack, in which at least 137 people were killed.
