Franz Beckenbauer has died

The legendary German footballer and manager Franz Beckenbauer has died aged 78.

Franz Beckenbauer, one of Germany's greatest football players, who captained the national team to World Cup victory in 1974 has died at the age of 78. We hear from a German football fan who met Franz Beckenbauer.

Israel has killed a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon as fears grow of a wider Middle East conflict.
