Explosions in Iran

Iran state media: More than 100 people have been killed by two bomb explosions

Iran's state media are reporting that more than 100 people have been killed by two bomb explosions near the tomb of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani on the fourth anniversary of his assassination by the US.

We report on a speech given by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's powerful armed group, Hezbollah to mark four years since the killing of Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Suleimani.

We hear reaction to both stories and analysis from our colleague at BBC Persian.

We get the latest updates on the rescue efforts following the earthquake in Japan.

Four years since the first reports of Covid-19 emerged, we hear a conversation with people who worked on the frontline treating Covid patients.
