Fighting intensifies in southern Gaza

Heavy fighting is taking place across Gaza, with house-to-house fighting reported as Israeli forces intensify their ground operation. Israeli forces are battling with Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters to the north and east of Khan Younis.
