Jenin: Israel launches military operation

Israel has launched a military operation against Palestinian militants in the Jenin refugee camp.

There have been Israeli drone strikes and gun battles between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants in Jenin, after Israel launched a major military operation in the occupied West Bank. The BBC's Middle east analyst Youssef Taha answers listener's questions about what's been happening.

Recently the Bank of International Settlements warned that the global economy is at risk of falling into a permanent high inflationary trap that will be difficult to “dislodge”.
