Assad attends Arab League summit

An Arab League summit has begun in Saudi Arabia, with the Syrian President Bashar al- Assad making his first appearance in more than 12 years. The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed President Assad, saying he hoped it would help bring stability to the region.
