Al Jazeera accuses Israel of targeting journalists

Newshour’s Julian Marshall gets reaction from Mark Regev, a spokesperson for the Israeli prime minister.

Following the death of the eldest son of Al Jazeera's senior correspondent in Gaza, the news network has issued a statement calling the killing of Hamza al-Dahdouh and the journalists travelling with him as a targeted ‘assassination’. We get the response from Mark Regev, a spokesperson for the Israeli prime minister.

Also on the programme: the ruling Awami league in Bangladesh have won an election boycotted by the opposition - we speak to a special envoy to the prime minister; and we hear all about the Hollywood stars gearing up for the Golden Globe Awards with our Los Angeles Correspondent, Emma Vardy.
