Israel: Civilians killed in violent attacks

After several days of tit-for-tat violence with the Palestinians, there have been further attacks in Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

After several days of tit-for-tat violence with the Palestinians, there have been further attacks in Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

Tensions have been high since Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem this week. This was followed by a barrage of rocket attacks from Lebanon and Gaza.

We'll hear more about the situation from our correspondent in Israel, an Israeli Defence Force spokesperson, and from Lebanon, where Israel accuses militants of supporting the Palestinian armed group Hamas.
