US calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza

In the last couple of hours, the US has said it has submitted a resolution to the United Nations calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Ukrainians were woken up overnight to the sound of dozens of explosions caused by missiles and drones launched by Russia.
