
Central Japan quake: Thirty people confirmed dead
The scale of the damage caused by the earthquake that struck central Japan on Monday is becoming clearer -- hundreds of buildings are now known to have collapsed or caught fire.
More than thirty people have died after Monday's powerful earthquake in Japan; thousands of people living in coastal areas have spent the night in evacuation centres after being ordered to head to higher ground following a tsunami alert - our correspondent joins us.
