At least 375 people are now known to have died after a powerful storm in the country

In the Philippines, at least 375 people are now known to have died and many more are injured, after Super Typhoon Rai hit the country's south-eastern islands. Rescue teams have described scenes of "complete carnage" amid fears widespread landslides and flooding may have claimed more lives.
