
Belarus accused of hijacking passenger plane
An opposition journalist was arrested after the plane was forced to land in Minsk.
Belarus has been condemned by western countries after it diverted a plane flying over its territory to arrest an opposition journalist. Belarus scrambled a fighter jet to force the plane to land, claiming there was a bomb threat on board.
