Hong Kong democracy activists tried in 'secret'
Ten Hong Kong pro-democracy activists had their case heard at a court in Shenzhen.
Ten of 12 Hong Kong democracy activists arrested at sea as they tried to flee to Taiwan by boat have gone on trial in mainland China. None of the defendants had independent legal representation and foreign diplomats from countries including the US, Britain and Canada were denied access to the courtroom.
