Coronavirus around the world: Brazil

We discuss the spread and the impact of coronavirus in Brazil

We continue to look back on the year 2020 and today hear from our correspondent in Brazil, one of hardest-hit countries in the world by the coronavirus pandemic, where handling of the outbreak has been very political.

And we bring an update on the explosion in the US city of Nashville where at least three peopke have been injured.

In India, the prime minister has announced about $2.4 bn worth of benefits for farmers as they continue to protest against new laws they say will damage their livelihoods. We go to Delhi to hear how farmers are reacting to the announcement.

And we hear from a Finnish grandfather and his granddaughter who have become the biggest social media story in the country during the pandemic. After the duo started posting videos of them singing together traditional folk songs and evergreens, they have gained thousands of followers and millions of views.
