Coronavirus: Authorities order the lockdown of northern Italy to try to halt the virus

Schools, gyms, pools, and ski resorts will be closed until early April

Italy has seen the largest number of coronavirus cases in Europe and reported a steep rise in infections on Saturday. The authorities have approved new draconian measures in Lombardy and 14 other central and northern provinces to try to contain the virus.

Also in the programme: a school for refugee children in Lesvos caught in fire; and a major exhibition of Warhol's work in London.
Joining Julian Worricker to discuss these and other issues are Baroness Arminka Helic, member of the UK House of Lords and Dave Clark, news editor for the French news Agency, AFP.
