China introduces new measures to try to stop virus

The number of people infected with a new respiratory disease continues to rise

China has announced that the number of people infected by the new coronavirus has increased sharply to nearly 2,000. The Chinese authorities have announced they are introducing new measures to try to stop the spread of the respiratory disease, including a ban on the sale of wild animals in markets.
