China virus spreads to Europe and Australia

The Chinese authorities have announced a further increase in the number of deaths from a new respiratory virus as the first cases are confirmed in Europe and Australia.

Also on the programme: new research suggests that the Japanese phenomenon of 'hikikomori' – or people who isolate themselves from society – is more widespread than previously thought.
