Summit in Berlin to pave way for peace in Libya

World leaders gather in Berlin to discuss how to set Libya on path to peace.

An international summit on Libya aimed at setting out a path to peace is taking place in Berlin today. The conference comes after nine months of conflict between the powerful General Khalifa Haftar and the UN-backed government in the capital Tripoli.

Also in the programme: We go to the United States and speak to Asian-American businessman Andrew Yang – a long shot candidate as the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee. His rise partly stems from a policy idea he claims can help fix a broken economy.
