Agreement Remains Elusive at Madrid Climate Summit

Negotiators at the UN climate talks in Madrid tasked with reducing the risk of catastrophic global warming have been unable to wrap up the meeting by Friday’s deadline.

Also on the programme; the UK’s opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn will resign after Thursday’s crushing election defeat. And, the UN has accused the Chilean police and armed forces of committing serious human rights violations in their response to recent mass demonstrations.
