Fires continue in Australia

Wild fires continue to burn in Australia; Sri Lankans go to the polls

Wild fires continue to rage on much of Australia's eastern coast: We hear from some of those worst affected.

Also in the programme: Sri Lankans are at the polls today in the first election since more than 250 people were killed in multiple suicide attacks.

And why some astronomers are angry about plans to put more than 40,000 new satellites into space.

Joining Julian Worricker to discuss these and other issues are Alex von Tunzelmann, British historian and film scriptwriter; and Giles Kenningham, founder of the Trafalgar Strategy political consultancy based in London and a director of communications for the UK Conservative Party’s general election campaign in 2015.
