Police in Hong Kong fire tear gas and water canon at protesters; poems in dying languages
Police in Hong Kong have fired tear gas and water canon at protesters, who're marking five years since the start of what became known as the Umbrella Movement.
Also in the programme: We take a look at poems in dying languages.
Joining Celia Hatton the discuss these and other issues are Diane Wei Liang, Chinese-born writer now based in the UK, and Kamal Alam, a defence analyst specialising in the Middle East and Afghanistan and a former adviser to the British military on Syria.
