Afghanistan holds elections

Afghanistan at the polls; turmoil in Team Trump; World Athletics championships kick off

Polls have opened in Afghanistan's presidential elections.

Also in the programme: Turmoil in Team Trump as the Secretary of State is subpoenaed, and a senior Ukraine envoy resigns.

Plus, the World Athletics championship kicks off in Doha, with doping casting a shadow over the men's 100m.

Joining Celia Hatton to discuss these and other issues are Holly Dagres, a nonresident fellow at the Washington-based think tank, the Atlantic Council, and Oscar Guardiola-Rivera, professor of philosophy and human rights at Birkbeck, University of London.
