Brazil's president blames dry weather for Amazon fires

Amazon fires continue; Hong Kong banks call for peaceful end to protests; relations between Greenland and Denmark

As fires rage in the Amazon, Brazil's President, Jair Bolsonaro, blames dry weather and above-average temperatures and calls in the army.

Also in the programme: The banks in Hong Kong who are calling for a peaceful resolution to the current political crisis.

And Greenland is not for sale, we know, but what of its longer term relations with Denmark?

Joining Julian Worricker to discuss these and other stories are Ellie Geranmayeh, senior fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations based in London, and Caroline Frost, writer and entertainment and media journalist.
