At least 12 dead in Virginia shooting; US announces tariff on Mexico
At least 12 people are killed in a shooting at a government building in the US state of Virginia.
Also in the programme: President Trump has announced a tariff on Mexico for not doing more to stop asylum seekers crossing into America.
And the massacre of pro-democracy students in Tiananmen Square in China happened thirty years ago this month. One of the student leaders, now exiled in Taiwan, looks back.
Joining Julian Worricker to discuss these and other issues are Shaista Aziz, a British journalist, writer, comedian and politician for the Labour Party, and Frank Langfitt, the London correspondent for the US National Public Radio network.
