US puts travel restrictions from Europe

The UK and Ireland are not included in the ban.

The US President Donald Trump has announced a 30 day travel ban on countries in the Schengen Area in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus. This measure does not affect other EU countries such as Ireland. Also in the programme: the former Italian Prime Minister, Mario Monte, says the serious restrictions placed on Italian society are justified; and the Ivorian city of Abidjan is the latest city hosting an African art exhibition.
