Coronavirus: Italian death toll soars

366 people have died across Italy. The total number of infections leapt 25% to 7,375 from 5,883, according to the Civil Protection agency. Travel restrictions are in place affecting 16 million people.

Also on the programme the MH17 trial begins today in Amsterdam, although the 4 men accused of shooting the flight down will not be in attendance. And as two rival Presidential inauguration ceremonies are due to take place in Afghanistan today, have the recent efforts to bring peace to that country been in vain?
