President Trump makes first state visit to India
The president addressed thousands at a rally in the state of Gujarat.
Mr Trump was met by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the start of a two day visit, and he described India as “one of the most amazing nations in the world”. Also in the programme: China’s Communist Party has announced the postponement of its annual meeting of parliament because of the spread of the coronavirus, and the extradition hearing of Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, begins today in London.
