Iran launches missile attack on US air bases in Iraq

The attack was in retaliation to the US killing of General Qasem Soleimani.

The two air bases housing US and coalition troops were targeted in response to the assassination of General Qusem Soleimani.

Also in the programme: a Ukrainian plane crashed outside Tehran with more than 170 on board; and Finnish scientists have produced a protein from “thin air” as an alternative to soya.
