The school on the frontline in Afghanistan
Teachers and pupils run the gauntlet of bombs and bullets everyday.
The Afghan government has been trying to get face-to-face negotiations with the Taliban, but fighting between the two sides still rages in parts of the country. Once such area is Kapisa province. A school there is near the frontline in the fighting, with pupils and teachers having to run the gauntlet of bombs and bullets.
Also on the programme we go to Delhi where protests over the controversial new citizenship law continue. And we hear from Maria Ressa, one of the most prominent journalists in the Philippines, whose trial for libel has restarted today in Manila. She is accused of defaming a businessman, she says the charges are politically motivated.
