
Brexit: EU considers extension

Most EU states are understood to favour a three-month delay to Brexit, with an option to end earlier if a deal is ratified sooner than this by Parliament. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he will give members of Parliament more time to debate his Brexit deal if they back a 12th December poll.
Also on the programme, the US Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into the Mueller inquiry. We hear from Australia where a permanent ban on climbing Uluru comes into force, and why the Solomon Islands refused China's attempt to lease an entire island from them.
