Two hundred and forty two deaths from the new coronavirus were recorded on Wednesday. It's the deadliest day since the outbreak of Covid-19. Our health reporter answers your questions about the illness, we hear from someone quarantined in China and we bring together colleagues covering different parts of Asia to discuss the response to the virus so far.
Also, Nigeria's House of Representatives has called for a nationwide state of emergency to be declared. This comes after suspected Islamist militants killed at least 30 people on a major road in the north-eastern state of Borno earlier in the week. Our reporter tells us more.
And we speak to people in the Australian state of New South Wales, as officials say all of the bushfires there are now contained. At least 33 people were killed and nearly 2,500 homes were destroyed during the bushfire season. But now flash flooding is causing more problems.
