We start in Iraq, where protesters have attacked the US embassy compound in the capital, Baghdad. They're demonstrating over recent deadly US air strikes that targeted an Iranian-backed Iraqi militia called Kataib Hezbollah. US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of "orchestrating" the attack.
Also, the latest from Australia where thousands of people have fled to beaches as fires spread in the south east of the country. The wildfires have been burning for weeks and killed 12 people. We'll speak to a woman who fled her home.
And our China correspondent John Sudworth reflects on the stories he's covered in 2019. One was his investigation into so-called "thought transformation camps" for Muslims in the western region of Xinjiang.
