
Delhi air quality: New measures to tackle toxic pollution
City authorities have responded by launching a car rationing system
India's top court has introduced new measures to battle the toxic air pollution in the capital, Delhi: no more power cuts until further notice to limit the use of diesel generators; no construction and demolition work; a ban on burning rubbish and a car rationing system. We hear from our South Asia correspondent.
Also: McDonald's has fired its chief executive Steve Easterbrook after he had a relationship with an employee. The US fast food giant said the relationship was consensual, but Mr Easterbrook had "violated company policy" and shown "poor judgement". We hear from people who have dated their boss.
And in Sweden a grandmother posts an open letter to the government - urging them to do something about organised crime in the Scandinavian country. The letter went viral. We hear from a reporter on the ground.
