More than 100 deaths in India floods
More than 100 people have died in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Unusually heavy late monsoon rains have caused floods in the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India. Railway and road traffic, healthcare services, schools and power supply have been disrupted in both states. We hear from people affected and speak to our reporter in Bihar.
We go to Haiti to hear about the ongoing protests sparked by fuel and food shortages. Tensions are high and people in the streets are demanding the resignation of President Jovenel Moise.
And we’ll have a conversation about shorter working week, after a campaign for four-day working week was launched in Ireland. We hear from people in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.
