South Africa: Women protest against sexual violence

Over 41,000 people were raped in South Africa in the year from April 2018.

People protesting over the the high levels of violence against women in South Africa have taken their protest to the financial heart of the country. Hundreds have gathered outside the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to call on the country's big firms to do more to tackle gender inequality. Over 41,000 people were raped in South Africa in the year from April 2018. We hear from South African women.

Also, in the US the top ten Democratic presidential candidates have debated each other for the first time. They focused on healthcare and how nationalised it should be. We speak to undecided Democrat voters about who has won them over.

And the Youtuber PewDiePie has changed his mind about donating $50,000 to a charity that campaigns to stop hate speech against Jewish people. Earlier this week, he told fans he would give the money to the Anti Defamation League, but says he has since reconsidered.
