
Saudi Arabia allows women to travel without male guardian's permission
Women over the age of 21 will be able to apply for a passport without authorisation
Women in Saudi Arabia will no longer need a male guardian's permission to travel, royal decrees say. It means those over the age of 21 will be able to apply for a passport without authorisation. The current system gives husbands, fathers and other male relatives the authority to make decisions about women. We get the reaction of Saudi women.
Also, Sudan's military rulers have announced the arrest of two more members of the Rapid Support Forces - a paramilitary unit - in connection with the deaths of teenage protesters on Monday. We hear from our Africa Security Correspondent, Tomi Oladipo, and from those on the streets in Sudan.
And Greenland's ice sheet has been melting at near-record rates, losing 11 billion tonnes of surface ice to the ocean in just one day. It's because of weather conditions that also brought a heatwave to Europe. We find out how this is affecting residents of the island.
