Istanbul voters to choose mayor in election re-run
Live from Turkey's biggest city ahead of the vote
Voters in Istanbul are facing a second mayoral election on Sunday. The initial one in March saw the ruling party's candidate narrowly defeated. After a successful court challenge, the election was annulled and a re-run declared. We're in Istanbul to hear people's thoughts ahead of the new vote.
Also, the latest on US-Iran relations. President Donald Trump has said that the US military was "cocked and loaded to retaliate" against Iran, but that he changed his mind 10 minutes before planned strikes. Earlier this week, Iran shot down a US unmanned drone, saying that it had violated Iranian airspace. The US military denied this.
And we're joined by the BBC's Africa Editor Fergal Keane, who's just returned from Sudan. He'll reflect on the months of protests in the country - which led to the removal of long-time President Omar al-Bashir - as well as the military crackdown that left dozens of protesters dead.
