Global study reveals attitudes on vaccination
Survey shows the number of people who say they have little confidence in immunisation
The biggest worldwide survey into attitudes on immunisation suggests confidence is low in some regions. Experts warn that public mistrust of vaccines means the world is taking a step backwards in the fight against deadly yet preventable infectious diseases. Our health expert takes questions from listeners. And we hear a conversation among parents with different experiences of vaccinations.
Also we speak to the BBC's correspondent in Beijing John Sudworth, who was given rare access to China's vast system of highly secure facilities that are thought to be holding more than a million Muslims in China’s western region of Xinjiang.
And in India, the city of Chennai has run out of water. We hear the experiences of people forced to buy water on the black market.
